ATC Conference 2016

This year on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September, the 40th annual ATC (Association of Translation Companies) conference took place in London at the QEII Centre. Now a full member of the ATC, LKT decided to go along for the second year in a row. Director, Louise Killeen, and Roddy Norris, Translator, seized the opportunity to make new contacts, catch up with existing ones and hear all about the latest goings-on in the translation and localisation industry.

Our duo of delegates braved the mid-morning London rush and arrived at the conference just in time for a spot of light lunch and the first of many networking opportunities. After two busy days of business-card swapping, interesting presentations, lively panel discussions, a delicious meal and champagne reception, as well as lots of tea and coffee, LKT returned from the event with lots to think about and new ideas to implement – so watch this space!
